Our story

How a small Colombo shop became a nationwide partner.

In 2017, Morin opened a small office stationery shop in Colombo 13. The premise was simple: keep what offices actually need in stock, deliver it without drama, and treat customers — whether they’re buying one pen or a thousand — like the work matters.

Nine years later, we’ve grown into a 500+ product catalog covering every category an office, school, factory, or government department might need. We moved to a larger shop in Colombo 03. We added courier partnerships that reach every district in Sri Lanka. We added installment plans through three banks. We added printing services — ID cards, lanyards, stamps, mug printing — for businesses that wanted everything from one supplier.

What hasn’t changed: we’re still a working shop. The team that takes your call is the team that packs your order. The pricing on the website is the pricing you pay. Stock is real, not drop-shipped. That’s the simple version of our story, and it’s served us well.

Photocopy paper, files, pens, markers, stapler pins, clips, envelopes, stickers — the daily-use items every office burns through. We carry the brands you trust (Double A, JK, Atlas) and the volumes you need.

Binding machines, laminators, paper cutters, shredders, calculators. Real product expertise — we know which model handles your volume, which bulb to replace, and how to keep the machine working past the warranty period.

Printing & services

ID cards and lanyards (ours is also lanyardprinting.lk). Custom rubber stamps. Sublimation mug printing. Corporate stationery. The service work that makes us more than just a re-seller.

Cash, card, and cheque at the shop. PayHere for online card payments. KOKO for buy-now-pay-later. Bank installments through HNB, Commercial, and DFCC for orders over Rs. 10,000. Cash on delivery for shipped orders.

DELIVERY

Three courier partners

PickMe Flash for same-day Colombo delivery. Koombiyo and Prompt XPress for island-wide dispatch — all 25 districts, 2 to 3 working days. Tracked and confirmed before it leaves the shop.

WAREHOUSING

Real stock, real warehouse

Stock sits in our Colombo facility, not a drop-ship middleman. When the website says "in stock", it's in stock. When something's running low, we update the page or call you before we charge.

For orders over Rs. 25,000, request a custom quote. We come back within one business day with pricing, payment terms, and a delivery schedule. Long-term supply contracts available for offices and schools.

A note from the founder

When I started officestationery.lk in 2017, the goal was modest: make it easier for offices in Colombo to get the things they actually needed. No long catalogs of items we didn't have. No "we'll get back to you" that never came.

Nine years later, we serve every district in Sri Lanka, but the goal is exactly the same. The team has grown. The catalog has grown. The shop is bigger. What hasn't grown is the gap between what we promise and what we deliver — that gap stays as small as we can keep it.
